Cambridge Guitar Lessons

Cambridge Guitar Lessons

I know exactly what it feels like to come to a guitar lesson for the first time. It can be a little daunting, but you have absolutely nothing to worry about. My lessons are relaxed, fun and move at your pace. All of our lessons will be aimed at taking you in the direction you want to go with your learning, whilst also focusing on specific techniques and exercises along the way – you set the destination, I’ll steer the ship!

We will use as many opportunities as possible to play music that you already know and have interest in, as this is the key to keeping you motivated towards your goals. We’ll break songs and riffs down into the rhythm and notes, allowing you to fully understand what you’re playing, before starting to play along with slowed down versions of the music and gradually building it up as you progress. Alongside this, we will cover the basics of music theory (in a fun way!) and go over all of the different techniques used in guitar, like string bends, slides and vibrato, gradually building you up as an all-rounded guitarist. Beginners to Advanced

I tutor students of all levels, with many of my pupils starting as beginners. I have developed a flexibly structured path of lessons aimed at getting beginners through the difficult introductory stages of learning guitar and enabling them to play songs they like rapidly.

I teach both electric and acoustic guitar, so whether you only want to learn a few chords, or if you want to play like your heroes, I can tailor our lessons to suit your goals!
